Bigg ups to O Dogg

Everyone has to start of somewhere. This brother (Orly), took me under his wing and taught me the basics in my art life at a young age. Your influence lives on through my art.

Fast life slow death. My calling, spam musubi, poke and primo lager

Standing on top of the overpass overlooking Honolulu. Fast life slow death. I feel like I'm moving so fast everyday. We all share one thing in common. Death comes to all. The question is how am I living my life today. Make your days count. You never know what tomorrow will bring

I remember as a child my father coming home with plastic wrapped around his shoulder. I wanted to see what was under the plastic. It was my first view of my fathers first tattoo. It was a biker style portrait of my mother. Since going under the needle my Dad has collected world class tattoos from artist from around the world. I feel like tattooing is almost a calling for me, a family legacy to carry on. My two years of apprenticeship is almost done my eyes is one the prize. In Hawaii you only have two chances each year to pass the test, if you fail you have to wait six month before you take the next test.

The spam musubi is equivalent to the turkey sandwich in mainland America. This little homemade concoction of fried spam sushi rice and nori is a symphony to my soul.
My treat to myself after a long day at work.

The seventh day project, Kress

KRESS / The Seventh Day Project from Evan Romoff on Vimeo.

Wedig HB

One of my favorite artist. Growing up I would always have a painting buddy, that I would call up, this guy excelled so far from just doing the average graff he created his own style. Way ahead of the game. Much respect to Wedig HB. Not only is he an amazing artist he has his own clothing brand based in Portland, get your orders in and support.

Blake Dadson is an artist who recently returned to Portland from NYC. After earning his masters in Painting, he is working hard on commissions through the Dunn and Brown Gallery and at Trader Joes in NW Portland. His raw skill and attention detail blows our collective mind. This five panel, pencil and ink piece is over twenty feet long!

avoiding the hype!

Fort Ruger market in town for your local kine grindz

Headed to the park to meet up with a few friends, Kamu seasoning the steak, while I grind on some Lau lau and limu poke
I'm not to sure what Guri was talking about but there seems to be a lot of different reactions
Sneak peak on the water color steeze
Right around the block from my pad North shore grinds in Palolo, what, what.

My independence day was spent hiding out from all the hype. I tend to be recluse from anything going on that entails a lot of people I don't know. Other than doing art I work all these odd jobs that require a lot of being attentive to peoples needs. For once I just want to chill. My wife wanted to watch this movie called Away we go. It was pretty cool, I wanted to sneak to the other theatre and watch transformers and see some Megan Fox action. Oh well I guess it was good to watch the movie, it reminds me of the season I'm in trying to figure life out.
